Peter took this mantra to heart, deciding to use his powers as a superhero, using along with his powers a pair of self made web shooters and taking the clothes he used as a wrestler and customizing them along with boots and gloves, becoming the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man Peter would follow the trail of the thief back to a warehouse where he would confront him, yet he wouldn't kill him, following his uncle's old mantra that with a great power there must come a great responsability. This at Peter's view would be his worst mistake as this same thief would try to make two hits in one night, breaking into a certain house on Queens, Peter's house, killing his Uncle Ben. Peter won, although his prize would be cut short due to the promoter's own avarice, so after a thief raids the promoters office, Peter lets him escape. Deciding to use this powers for his own gain, Peter decided to enter a ring-match against professional wrestler Crusher Hogan. Peter would gain the spider's natural abilitties as also those it had gained by being experimented, including the proporcional strenght of a spider, agility, the ability to cling to any surface as also a sixth sense that would alert him from danger. After the visit, Peter would unadvertedly be bitten by one of the spiders that had escaped from it's exhibit, empowering Peter as it died.
Peter's academic record and grades would gain him and entrance for a visit to Horizon Labs, where he would visit a science exhibit in which they would showcase the evolution of animals and how they can genetically evolve naturally and by the effect of science, one of these being the spider. Peter was short of a normal teen with an affination for science and technology, he being quite academically gifted and nothing short of a genius at the young age of 15, although he was also every bit shy, getting the disrespect of his peers at Midtown High. Story: Born to two ex- ARGUS scientists, Peter lost his parents at a very young age being raised actually by his Uncle Ben and his Aunt May, in a modest house at Forest Hills, Queens.
